Pumpkin pound cake

http://www.somethingswanky.com/starbucks-pumpkin-pound-cake/

This recipe is great!
I did make a few changes:
instead of three egg whites I used 2 eggs and instead of a cup and a half of sugar I used one cup of firmly packed light brown sugar
also instead of cloves I used some ginger.

Wheat bread from my bread machine

This recipe from wikihow is the best wheat bread recipe I've tried so far in my bread machine.

I think I used 1 1/2 tsp salt and it still over rose a little. Next time I will up the salt and see how it goes.

Baked Parmesan Tilapia

This is super easy... also smells and tastes wonderful!

So... thaw out your Tilapia and pat dry with paper towels and place on a piece of aluminum foil, sprayed with Pam or whatever cooking spray you use... and then drop a dollop of sour cream on each piece of fish and smear it all over the top

Then sprinkle with Parmesan or a Three cheese blend which is what I use

Next sprinkle the fish with crushed Ritz crackers!

and then sprinkle lightly with oregano and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 20 minutes

Enjoy the smell while it cooks lol and then dig in!

Steak Salad

Nothing more than your favorite salad.... with the steak (and mushrooms) thrown in instead of on the side.  In this picture the steak was grilled, and the mushrooms cooked in foil on the grill, but pan seared steak and sauteed mushrooms work too.  However you like it :)
I split and grilled a roll to go with it this time and also had some sunflower seeds/nuts :D that I sprinkled on and finally I had some Green Goddess dressing again, it's kinda hard to find these days.

chipped beef with a twist

I had some leftover cornbread that I had added cheddar cheese and bacon to and a craving for something kinda like chipped beef on toast....

so I made some alfredo sauce
then I took a wedge of the cornbread and sliced it in half
laid some pieces of virginia ham sandwich meat on top of the cornbread
ladled the alfredo sauce over that
put a piece of pepper jack cheese on top and microwaved the whole thing til the cheese was melted

it hit the spot lol
